We strive for Sherenden students to be:

Sherenden & Districts School is a rural, state, co-educational, full primary located 35 kms west of Hastings, 21kms up the Taihape Rd.
We cater for students from year 1-8.
Our Year 7/8 students attend technology in town at Taradale Intermediate.
We currently have 2 bus runs operating out of our school.
The original school was founded in 1916 and we have a roll of 47 students to begin the 2026 year.

Teaching Principal
0.6 job share with Senior Room
Middle Room teacher
Junior Room Teacher
1x Teacher Aide to support the students and classroom teachers
Office administrator and caretaker
